This is me


        



I live in Gothenburg, the West coast of Sweden. I was born May 20th, 1948.
Iīm married to Richard and have  three sons, they are all grown up and no longer living at home.


 


I have three grandchildren, Emil, Felicia och Sara, but I donīt see them very often, itīs too many miles between us, but when we are together, well, thatīs really great...

When I was young my dream was a horse of my own, but as time passed, boys became more interesting... I still love horses but havenīt got any... Yet!
My mother-in-law Anna lived with us from 1990 until July 11th, 2006, when she passed away.



My dear mother passed away several years ago, after a long hard time of suffering from cancer. I nursed her during her last time and of course it was hard, but I know I did the right thing to take care of her.  There isnīt a day without me missing her. I wish she was here to see my youngest son, John.

My mother-in-law lived with us for sixteen years and it's empty withour her.

I love the nature and the sea, most of all I love to travel, mostly to Spain, mainly to Mallorca. Thatīs my favorite place on Earth and I love it, every time of the year. Mallorca is more to me but sun and beaches, itīs my second home country.

I also read a lot, my favorite book is still "The world according to Garp" by John Irving, other favorite writers are John Grisham and Henning Mankell. My all time favorite movie is "Fried green tomatoes"
And I'll never forget "Gone with the wind"

 



FRIED GREEN TOMATOES

4 or 5 large green tomatoes
1 cup flour
1/2 cup corn meal, yellow or white
2 cups cooking oil

Slice tomatoes into rounds.
Mix flour and corn meal
 together in a medium size bowl. 
Heat cooking oil in a large frying pan. 
Roll tomatoes in flour/corn meal mixture. 
Place in frying pan, cook until tender
 and golden brown.
 Salt and Pepper to taste.




I enjoy all kind of music, but my favorite singer is Andrea Bocelli.
I also like  Marie Fredriksson, Eva Dahlgren, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, 
Tomas Ledin, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton and many more...
Iīm an old Elvisfan...
Marvin Gaye has a special place in my heart.

Iīm blond with blue eyes and I love lasagna, and I canīt say Iīm skinny.
