A thought I have is about the fantastic women letting us use their graphics; all they require in return is a link back to their own site on the same page where the graphics are being displayed.
Without these women, I´d have a very plain site, so if you use  their graphics, give them appreciation for their wonderful work; - always post a link on the page where the graphics are being used. If we get a lovely post card from one of the fantastic sites that offer these cute post cards to be sent to our friends, we must remember that those cards are not allowed  to be posted on our sites.
The graphic artists' rules for usage of their graphics are so obvious, and shouldn´t be hard to follow at all.
Lately, another problem regarding copyright laws, has been found out: bandwith stealing! It´s a shame, we all must pay respect for other webdesigners and graphic artists´ good work. Internet should be a place where we respect and enjoy other´s work, not by stealing from them, but by giving the proper credit, that can´t be so hard to follow, and let´s all help to change this awful behaviour which is now being spread out like  a very bad virus on the Net!

The Webmasters oath:
"I take pride in my web site, and I respect the graphics
I acquire to embellish it. I am an avid supporter of original graphic artists on the World Wide Web. I take the time to read each graphic artists' terms of use, and I adhere to all of his, or her, rules and regulations. I faithfully provide a credit link on the same page the graphics are being displayed on.
I do not infringe on any graphic artists' copyrights by altering their images in any way, shape or form. I will not freely distribute graphics via email, or by any unauthorized means without written consent.
I take this oath willingly... and by doing so, I am committed to abide by it.
My site is listed below to show my respect for all graphic artists and fellow webmasters on the WWW. I understand that my site can, and will be removed, if I am unable to fulfill my leadership role.
I promise to lead by example and my website is proof of my commitment to this oath."
