The story about Don Juan has been told 35 times in different movies.
One version from 1926 with John Barrymore in the title role has gone to the movie history beacause Don Juan in the movie is kissing different women 191 times! That makes one kiss every 53trd second- which is a record!
No need to wonder what the movie is all about...

In Kama Sutra, the classic indian book, is 20 different kinds of kisses described.

In Japan kissing was  " dirty, vulgar, undignified and spreading deseases"  - all according to Tokyo´s police law. For that reason appr. 267.000 kissing scenes were cut from american movies released in Japan in 1926!

In Riverside,  California, USA, is an old law which makes kissing illegal if the couple not have moistered their lips with rose water (!?) 

The first country in East allowing kisses in a movie was China. It was with  Marnie Lee in the movie Two Women in the House (1926). 

William Shatner and Nichelle Nichols in the TV show Star Trek was the actors that exchanged kisses between a white and a black person in American TV. It was in  1968. 

A kiss that last for one minute burns 26 calories. Maybe a nice way to lose some weight? 

In an American opinion poll it was found that 8 % keeps their eyes open during a kiss and as many as 20 % admit they use to take a peek while closing their eyes. 41%  had their first real kiss in the age of 13-15, while 36 % had to wait until between the age of 16 and 21. The most memorable kiss in movie history is according to the same poll was between Scarlett and Brett in Gone with the Wind, this according to 25%  of the participate in the poll.
