"I believe Santa is a woman...
- I donīt want to through away an ancient myth, but I think he is a she.
Think for yourself. Christmas is a huge, well organized, warm,
cozy, social
event, and I have difficulties to believe a man could manage to handle such a great event.
To begin with, the majority of men donīt start to think about what to buy for Christmas gifts until early in the morning of Christmas Eve. Itīs like they were frozen in a kind of time zone until 3pm, and suddenly, they, with such
calmness, call their equal thinking male friends and make up plans for last minute shopping.
At the mall they all seem to be so surprised to find the only things left to buy
are Black & Decker-machines, and other tools. (One could imagine that this could create panic with our men. On the contrary, they think the shopping is more
convinient) Only with the argument to lean on, I say Santa has to be a woman!
For sure, if he was a man, every human being on Earth should open their Christmas
gifts and find tools, tools, and nothing but tools!
Another problem for a male Santa would be to come to the right place in time. First, there would be no rain deers, they would all be dead, skinned and tired up at the back of the slade. Santa yelling the hunting season on rain deers being prolonged. Skeeterīs head already gone for conservation, and montaged on a wall soon.
Even if he-Santa HAD rain deers, he would for sure get lost among snow and clouds, and then refuse to stop to ask for the right way. Add to this the inevitable delay in the chimney, stopping to examine everything that the chimney is built of.
To also controlling all the angels on every Christmas tree
would even take more time for him.
He would never get in time.
Other reasons for why Santa canīt be a man:
Men canīt pack a case.
Men can not wear red velvet.
Men feel their manhood threatened by being among all the little elves.
Men donīt respond to mail.
Men are not interested in socks, if they arenīt on a womans legs.
To say "Ho, ho, ho, are there any nice children around?" all the time
means difficulties to pick up women.
Finally, to be responsible for Christmas is a dedication for life.
But as long as we have eachother, Silent Night, Christmas spirit, well,
it doesnīt really matter which gender Santa has.
I just wish she stops dressing up like a man!
