~A Scent of Lavender~

Lavender isnīt only beautiful and have a wonderful fragrance. It can also be refreshing during hot Summer days, make it by cooking the flowers and bathe it on your temples. It might also alleviate headache.

Lavender is best grown in sunny and calm environments. (Not on our balcony, unfortunately) The easiest way to grow Lavender is to buy plants, to cultivate seeds takes time. Plant it early in the Spring and it gets best chance to take root before the Winter.

So on to what I love most about the Lavender; reap them and dry when the flowers are almost in bloom. Cut long twigs and and tie them together, hang them to dry in a drying cabinet, if you got one of course. When the twigs are completely dried, rub the flowers loose and put them in cans with lids.

Soap made of Lavender is
calming for the skin.

Lavender water and oil
is also good for the skin.

It is so nice to keep the dried flowers in little bags of fabric and keep in the linen cabinet or in the bathroom. Or why donīt put them in a bowl and just enjoy them anywhere.

Can we make tea of the Lavender?
Yes, why not?
