Sweden is a small country in the
North, only appr.
8,9 millions inhabitants,
and itīs rather cold during the Winter, at least in the northern parts.
I live in the south so we havenīt that cold Winters, and, Iīm sorry to say, more rain than snow. But I like to live in the south anyway because itīs closer to the continent, the middle of Europe.
Sweden is a kingdom, our king is Carl XVI Gustaf, and we have a prime minister.
For the time beeing, his name is Göran Persson.
Sweden is a democracy and I think we have a high standard of living here.But of course we have problems too, nothing is perfect, but Iīm happy to live here, even if I wish the climate to be warmer during the Winter.
The Christmas Eve, thatīs the day we have the gifts,
and everyone in Sweden believes in Santa of course :o)
But the roomer saying polar bears are running along the streets in Sweden, Iīm sorry, but thatīs not true.
I live in Gothenburg, on the West coust, my town is the second biggest in
Sweden.
I really like living in Gothenburg, itīs a convinient city, easy to explore and I love to live near the ocean, only a few minutes away from my home, and still having the city so close to me.
Our capitol city is Stockholm which is an incredible beautiful city.

In the

a troll!īTrollī, denomination on overnatural ado in folklore everywhere in Sweden;
